Science Club

Ask, test, explain

What this club is for

Purpose

To move science from the textbook to the bench — letting students design, build and explain their own investigations.

What it aims to develop

  1. Careful observation

Honest, careful observation and recording — the habit that underlies every experiment.

  2. Working models

Models and demonstrations built by hand to show how something actually works.

  3. Explaining results

The ability to explain a result clearly to an audience of teachers and peers.

  4. Everyday curiosity

A working curiosity about the science behind everyday phenomena.
